Project descriptionA custom Ring with 6 grab holes was needed to function in a medical device and the best option to make this was by casting it using 3d printed molds.
These plastic molds were designed in SolidWorks. Due to the small diameter of the ring and high viscosity of the casting plastic, I needed to make special design so that the liquid reaches all around as you can see in the pictures attached.
The pictures attached show the designed molds for this purpose and also the ting which was casted in it.
